How to Apply

1. Review the Categories

Review the award categories and eligibility requirements to determine which are the best fit for your business. You may apply in more than one category. 

2. Create Your Application Account

Create an account in our online application portal. All applications must be completed and submitted electronically.

3. Preview the Questions (Optional)

Would you like to prepare in advance? Download the ABEX Awards Application Package? to review the questions before starting, or simply create an account and review the questions. You can save your progress and come back at any time.

4. Complete Your Application

Select your chosen category and begin answering the application questions.

5. Save and Return Anytime

Not ready to submit? No problem. Your progress can be saved and revisited at any time before the deadline.

6. Upload Required Materials

Prepare and upload supporting materials, including high-resolution photos, your corporate logo, and any other required attachments.

Submission Deadline

All applications, including supporting documents (financials, photos, etc.), must be completed and submitted by April 1, 2026.

After this deadline, no further submissions, edits, or uploads will be accepted. 

What Happens Next?

Once the application deadline has passed, all submissions are reviewed to confirm eligibility. Eligible applications are then evaluated by independent, third-party adjudicators. Finalists are selected following a final review by the judging committee. Read about our judging process.

All applicants will be notified, regardless of outcome. Finalists will be publicly announced in the third week of June via news release and social media.

Award recipients will be announced live at the ABEX Awards Gala on September 26, 2026 at TCU Place in Saskatoon.

All finalists are required to purchase a ticket and attend the Gala. We encourage finalists to celebrate the occasion with their team, clients, and supporters.

Finalists and their guests are invited to attend the exclusive Finalist Cocktail Reception, beginning 30 minutes prior to the awards ceremony. The evening concludes with the ABEX Afterparty, open to all attendees.

Application Notes

  • If a category does not receive a sufficient number of competitive entries, the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to extend the deadline for that category, invite additional submissions, or cancel the category.
  • Applicants are responsible for the accuracy of all submitted materials. By submitting an application, you confirm that all information provided is complete and accurate.
  • Information from your entry form may be used exactly as submitted for award production, presentation materials, and media recognition.
  • The Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to disqualify incomplete submissions.
  • Acceptance of submissions is at the discretion of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.
  • Categories may be realigned based on application volume. Entrants will be notified if this occurs.
  • If fewer than four entries are received in a category, the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to eliminate that category from the competition.
  • All entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
