In addition to announcing the finalists for the eight application-based categories, the Chamber is also pleased to announce the recipients of four special awards. These recipients are independently selected by the ABEX Judging Committee.
ABEX Business Leader of the Year: This award recognizes an individual exemplifying business vision and significant contribution to the local business community.
2025 Recipient: Scott Banda, Retired, Federated Co-operaties Ltd. (Saskatoon)
ABEX Community Leader of the Year: This award honours an individual who has positively impacted Saskatchewan through volunteerism and philanthropy.
2025 Recipient: Vaughn Solomon Schofield, Former Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan (Regina)
Saskatchewan Business Hall of Fame Inductee: The Hall of Fame recognizes businesses demonstrating excellence over an extended period and contributing to Saskatchewan's economic well-being.
2025 Inductee: Nutrien (Saskatoon)
Roger Phillips Chamber Builder Award: This award is presented to an individual with a long-standing commitment to the chamber network in Saskatchewan, in honour of past Chamber Board member and ABEX founder Roger Phillips. The recipient is chosen by the current Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.
