In addition to announcing the finalists for the eight application-based categories, the Chamber is also pleased to announce the recipients of four special awards. These recipients are independently selected by the ABEX Judging Committee.

ABEX Business Leader of the Year, sponsored by the University of Regina: This award recognizes an individual exemplifying business vision and significant contribution to the local business community.
2024 Recipient: Gary Redhead, President and CEO of Redhead Equipment (Regina)

ABEX Community Leader of the Year, sponsored by FCC. This award honours an individual who has positively impacted Saskatchewan through volunteerism and philanthropy.
2024 Recipient: Greg Yuel, Owner, President, and CEO of PIC Investment Group (Saskatoon)

Saskatchewan Business Hall of Fame Inductee: The Hall of Fame recognizes businesses demonstrating excellence over an extended period and contributing to Saskatchewan's economic well-being.
2024 Inductee: AGT Food and Ingredients (Davidson)

Roger Phillips Chamber Builder Award: This award is presented to an individual with a long-standing commitment to the chamber network in Saskatchewan, in honour of past Chamber Board member and ABEX founder Roger Phillips. The recipient is chosen by the current Chair of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.
